How I work

I don’t expect you to turn up as a calm, organised version of yourself. You can come as you are, overwhelmed, exhausted, tearful, scattered, in pain, late, or unsure where to start. That is all welcome.
My work brings together counselling, somatic (body-based) coaching and psychoeducation about ADHD (and hormones). We look at what is happening in your mind and body, and how your history, nervous system and current life load all interact.
Together, we might:
  • Make sense of your experiences
Understanding ADHD traits, trauma responses and hormonal changes can be a huge relief. We join the dots so you can see patterns instead of “personal failings”.
  • Support your nervous system
  • Gentle, body-based tools to help with overwhelm, shutdown, anxiety, anger, sleep and chronic pain. No forcing, no pushing through – we go at your pace.
  • Untangle shame and self-blame
Many of my clients arrive feeling “too much”, “lazy”, “chaotic” or “broken”. We work on softening that inner voice and building a more compassionate, realistic story about you.
  • Create practical strategies
Small, doable changes for daily life: routines that work with your brain, ways to manage sensory overload, rest that actually feels restful, and boundaries that protect your energy.
  • Navigate big transitions – Do you need support to be the best leader you can be?

Sessions are one-to-one, either online or from my home practice in Coxheath, Maidstone. We decide together how often to meet and what kind of support you need right now, whether that is short-term focused work or longer-term support as you move through a bigger life transition.
If you are curious about working together, the next step is usually a brief, no-pressure chat so you can get a feel for me and ask any questions.
